Although on its website Revenue Group maintains that they treat all consumers with dignity and respect, there have been several complaints made against the agency. Real vegas online review. The company is not registered with the Better Business Bureau but they have received 27 complaints in the last three years. Revenue Group responded to all complaints, but 22 complainants found their responses unacceptable or did not bother responding to the BBB to accept the responses.
Many consumers state that they have received calls from Revenue Group where they were treated poorly and harassed by the callers. Some suggest that Revenue Group has violated The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) by calling multiple times a day (sometimes even making several calls right in a row), or neglecting to properly identify themselves, their company, or the fact that they are attempting to collect on a debt.
According to several complaints, the company will often ask debtors to agree to a 'settlement payment,' but the settlement offer is the full amount; this is after the debtors have already explained they cannot afford the full amount and instead are willing to make monthly payments.
